This year marks our sixteenth anniversary, acknowledging our presence and sustainability as an organization among the diverse communities of Miami-Dade County. We would like to thank you for your support for our mission to present art that is diverse, contemporary, and invigorating! It’s with the support of individuals and friends like yourself that we continue to present bold new visual languages from around the world.

The range of media used is as diverse as the artists’ originations; and includes painting, sculpture, film, spoken word, and performance art. These artists have produced work that discusses social, environmental, sexual, national and international political issues, providing the audience with visible opinions and theories about both Caribbean and North American contemporary society.

Diaspora Vibe Cultural Arts Incubator is a think tank framing new modes of representation among the Caribbean Diaspora. Diaspora Vibe’s programming includes the Exhibitions Programs such as the Caribbean Crossroads Series and the «Off the Wall Experimental Lab Series»; the International Cultural Arts Exchange Series; and Education and Outreach programming including the Artists-in-Residence program, workshops, and DiaWeb – our online archival and digital documentation portal.

Founded by Rosie Gordon-Wallace in 1966, Diaspora Vibe is a cultural organization guided by the conviction that contemporary art is a vital social force that extends beyond the art world and into the broader culture.
